Far Cry New Dawn is an action first-person shooter game from Ubisoft, which is the story-driven sequel to Far Cry 5. The story is set in Hope Country, America, 17 years after the nuclear war. The devastated area is finally beginning to recover from the attack and gradually begins to establish a new community. However, their efforts are threatened by a group of Highwaymen who rob and murder the residents. The leaders of this group are twins Mickey and Lou, who will be your main targets throughout the game. Of course, it won't be so easy to get to them, and you'll have to fight your way through the crowds of their followers. In the game you can look forward to many elements and equipment from the previous installment. But of course, there will also be other, brand new weapons and items.

A colourful experience

As the story takes place 17 years after the nuclear war, the land has already recovered from the attack and it's not only in the forests that you can look forward to sensuously coloured plants and trees. In general, the whole game is much more cheerful and lively compared to previous installments in terms of colour, which, combined with the beautiful graphics, only proves that the competition will find it hard to match similar results.

Exploring your surroundings

As in previous installments, you'll be offered an open world to explore for hours on end. During these expeditions, you may also encounter various, more or less friendly representatives of the local fauna. While you're on those expeditions, don't hesitate to try out the special Expeditions mode, which offers the chance to visit a number of other locations across the United States.

Ruthless combat

Once again, you'll have the choice of taking out enemies slowly and quietly, one by one, or charging headlong into the fray alone. The developers are sympathetic to both ways of progressing through the game, and you get the option to build a saw thrower, for example, which fires a spinning saw blade at the enemy, or to use your trusty four-legged friend for a quieter takedown. Creativity has no limits.

You're not alone.

Fortunately, you won't be alone against the odds. A handful of residents are not afraid to take your side, and you'll have the help of Hurk and many other brave allies to help you complete your tasks. But if you prefer live teammates on the net, don't despair, because as in previous installments, online two-player co-op is supported here.
