The third installment of Artyom's journey will again take us to post-apocalyptic Moscow, but for the first time we will also see the wild Russian wilderness. We will explore the landscape in huge non-linear levels and continue the story inspired by the books of Dmitry Glukhovsky. The game's storyline will span the entire year from spring, summer, autumn to the harsh nuclear winter.

UP TO THE SURFACE
A quarter of a century after the nuclear war that devastated the Earth, several thousand survivors are still trying to survive under the ruins of Moscow in the subway tunnels. Over time, they have battled mutated beasts and the paranormal and suffered many losses in the civil war. But now, as Artyom, you must leave the Metro and lead your group on a surreal adventure across the continent in post-apocalyptic Russia in search of a new life in the East.

Metro Exodus will offer an epic story in 4A Games' beautiful FPS shooter, combining deadly combat with stealth elements as you do a lot of exploring and, most importantly, trying to survive in one of the most expansive games ever created.

The journey east is made easier by the Aurora, a highly modified steam locomotive and its crew. You'll decide her fate through a system of decisions that will have many implications for both your comrades and the story, ensuring great replayability.
