Watch Dogs 2, released in November 2016 for PS4, is an open-world action-adventure video game from Ubisoft. As the second installment in the Watch Dogs series, the game is set in a vibrant and dynamic take on San Francisco and offers players the role of hacker Marcus Holloway, a member of the hacker group DedSec. The goal is to bring down the corporate system and ctOS 2.0, an advanced operating system connecting the city's infrastructure, which is being used for mass surveillance and manipulation of citizens.

The game is known for its vast open world, which allows players to explore a multitude of areas ranging from densely populated city districts to natural scenery.
