God of War Ragnarök is the sequel to 2018's critically acclaimed God of War. The game is set during the Fimbul Winter, where the protagonists Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Worlds to find answers while the Asgardian forces prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way, they explore amazing mythical landscapes and face formidable foes in the form of Norse gods and monsters.

Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of "Loki" and determine his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be ruled by fear of repeating his mistakes, or whether he will break free from his past to be the father Atreus needs.

The game is built on a combat system that utilizes the various abilities of both heroes, including the Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield, and Kratos' deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monsters across the Nine Worlds to protect his family.

God of War Ragnarök offers the chance to explore vast regions, travel through dangerous and amazing landscapes, and face a wide range of hostile creatures, monsters, and Norse gods as Kratos and Atreus search for answers.
