RoadCraft on PS5 represents an ambitious shift from the developers at Saber Interactive (creators of MudRunner and SnowRunner), who bring a realistic simulator of landscape restoration after devastating disasters. Players take on the role of the head of a rescue company and use more than 40 types of heavy machinery — from bulldozers to finishers to cranes — to clear debris, restore infrastructure, build bridges, and lay temporary roads. There are eight vast maps (each approximately 4 km²) where sophisticated physics for handling sand, wood, and asphalt combine with logic, planning, and manual vehicle control sequences.

Reviewers call RoadCraft their most sophisticated off-road simulator to date — Push Square, for example, gives it a rating of 8/10 and highlights the combination of turn-based missions and sandbox road building with devastating storms, detailed vehicles and cockpits, and the possibility of cooperation.
