The game puts you in the role of members of the Suicide Squad, tasked with destroying the most powerful superheroes in the DC world - the Justice League. With an original story set in the vast open world of Metropolis, four DC supervillains are sent on a suicide mission against invading alien forces and corrupt superheroes who have turned against the city they once swore to protect. During the mission, players must constantly remember the deadly explosives implanted in their heads, which threaten to explode at any sign of defiance.

Each squad member has their own unique moveset, enhanced movement abilities to freely explore the dynamic Metropolis, and a variety of customizable weapons and skills. The game offers the option to play solo in single-player mode or team up with friends in co-op multiplayer mode.
