Players take on the role of Wuchang, a pirate warrior with memory loss, who faces an epidemic called Aviomorphosis that turns people into monsters. You will explore diverse environments ranging from overgrown ruins to abandoned temples to misty landscapes filled with monsters. As you progress, you will gain new abilities by fighting bosses, expand your weapon collection, and upgrade them with the rare Red Mercury artifact. Each step you take opens the way to three different endings, which vary depending on your choices, fighting style, and the secrets you uncover.

The combat system supports a combination of melee and magic—you have over 25 types of weapons and 40 different spells at your disposal, which can be customized to suit your play style. The game offers 40 to 60 hours of challenging soulslike gameplay—every wrong move has a price.
