Devil May Cry 4 Collector’s Edition for Xbox 360 is a special collector’s edition of the action game from Capcom. The fourth main instalment in the famous series features fast-paced combat, demonic enemies, massive bosses and a pair of playable heroes, Nero and Dante.

The story is set primarily in the city of Fortuna, home to the religious Order of the Sword, which worships the legendary demonic knight Sparda. A young knight, Nero, finds himself at the centre of events when he witnesses Dante’s unexpected attack on members of the Order. As he investigates Dante’s true motives, he gradually uncovers a far greater threat.

Nero is armed with the Red Queen sword, the Blue Rose revolver and, above all, the demonic arm known as the Devil Bringer. This allows him to pull enemies towards him, unleash devastating attacks and utilise special abilities whilst moving through the environment.

Later on, players also take control of the legendary Dante, the main hero of the previous instalments. His fighting style offers a wide range of weapons and the ability to switch between different styles right in the middle of battles. This allows players to create long and spectacular combos.

The combat system evaluates not only the number of defeated enemies, but above all the style and variety of attacks. Simply repeating the same technique over and over is not enough – you’ll achieve the highest rating by combining weapons, attacks and special abilities without taking any damage from the enemy.

During the campaign, Nero and Dante face off against a host of demons and massive bosses. The individual locations combine intense action with exploration, the search for hidden items and simpler puzzle-solving tasks.

Devil May Cry 4 was released in 2008 and was the first main instalment in the series to be released simultaneously on the Xbox 360. The game retained the characteristic fast-paced gameplay of its predecessors, but introduced a new protagonist and significantly more modern graphics.
