Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is a version of the popular sandbox video game Minecraft developed by 4J Studios in collaboration with Mojang and Microsoft Studios for the Xbox 360 console. The game was originally released in May 2012.

The principle of the game remains basically the same as in the original PC version. Players are placed in a procedurally generated world where they can mine various materials, which they can then use to create new items, tools or buildings. The game is known for its open-endedness and players have almost unlimited freedom in what they can create.

Players can choose from two basic game modes: Survival and Creative. In Survival mode, players must gather resources, build shelters, procure food, and defend against various monsters. In Creative mode, players have unlimited resources at their disposal and can focus on building and creating without having to worry about survival.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition also allows for multiplayer online play using Xbox Live or locally using splitscreen mode.

Although this version of the game lacks some of the features and updates available in the original PC version or later versions for newer generation consoles, it was still very popular and well received by critics for its creativity, simplicity, and fun multiplayer.
