 LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on Xbox 360 is an action game and the sequel to LEGO Batman: The Videogame. Like the first game, it draws elements from the Batman universe, but is built entirely out of LEGO-style bricks. It begins when the "Man of the Year" awards ceremony in Gotham City is disrupted by the Joker and a gang of thugs. Bruce Wayne is a nominee for the award and transforms into Batman to hunt them down and team up with members of the Justice League.

The game has an open world concept with gameplay similar to its predecessor. It can be played as both the classic Batman character as well as various other DC Comics superheroes, including Superman, Green Lantern, Robin, Batgirl, The Flash and Wonder Woman. Batman and Robin's suits have been changed, and brand new suits have been added, such as Batman's Power Suit, which can shoot explosive pellets, and Robin's Acrobat Suit, which can turn Robin into a zorb ball and allows him to throw an acrobatic pole into drawers to stagger to higher positions. In addition to the original story, which features voice acting for the first time, the game includes a total of 15 levels and a fully explorable open world of Gotham City. The game can be played cooperatively via split-screen mode.
