SBK X is the seventh installment of the official video game series that accompanies the World Superbike Championship, based on the 2009 season. This time the game not only features all the official tracks, riders, bikes and training sessions of the Superbike class, but also the Supersport and Superstock 1000 classes. In addition, a new Evolving Track feature is introduced. Thanks to this system, the track "rubberizes" over time, revealing the best trajectories and allowing the player to enjoy better grip. The system also works when racing on a wet track. Here, the track dries out faster in the areas where most drivers are riding, keeping players alert to the ever-changing circumstances.

To enjoy the new features, the player has the choice between Arcade and Simulation mode at the start of the game: * Arcade mode: This mode allows you to ride the wheels and break off beyond your limits without fear of falling. The base is Story Mode, in which the player starts in Superstock 1000, gaining reputation points to slowly work his way up to the Superbike World Championship. Reputation points are earned by completing objects during each race. To this end, races often do not start at the beginning. Instead, for example, a player must fight his way to 10th place, starting from 14th place in just two laps.

Simulation mode: In this mode, everything is geared towards realism - even at the lowest settings. Career mode is the basis. Again, the player starts in the Superstock 1000 race and has 8 seasons to become the new Superbike World Champion. Instead of challenges and chapters, however, this is a real mode that includes complete races .
