Xbox 360 Phantasy Star Universe is an action role-playing game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega in 2006 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and Windows PC. The game is the spiritual sequel to the Phantasy Star Online series.

In the Phantasy Star Universe, players explore diverse worlds, fight against different types of enemies, and upgrade their characters through experience and better equipment. The game features both a single-player mode as well as an extensive online multiplayer mode.

The story in the single-player mode revolves around Ethan Waber, a member of the Fast Rescue Squad who becomes involved in a conflict between humans and a race known as SEED. This story mode offers over 40 hours of game time and features a large number of missions that take the player through different environments and against a variety of enemies.

The online mode allows players to create their own character and explore the world with other players, completing missions and fighting enemies in cooperative play. Players can also visit towns where they can buy and sell equipment, connect with other players and participate in various community events.
