Thief is an action stealth video game developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix. The game was released in February 2014 for various platforms including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Thief is the fourth installment in the classic Thief series, which first appeared in 1998 with Thief: The Dark Project.

The game is set in a fictional city called The City, which is ruled by a tyrant named Baron. Players control a character called Garrett, a master thief who seeks to uncover the truth about his past life while getting involved in the political intrigue and conflict in the city.
