Far Cry 6 is a first-person action shooter developed by Ubisoft Toronto. It was released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC in October 2021. It is the sixth major installment in the popular "Far Cry" franchise.

The game is set in a fictional Caribbean country called Yara, which is inspired by Cuba. Yara is ruled by dictator Anton Castillo, who is portrayed by famed actor Giancarlo Esposito. Castillo is a ruthless leader who rules the country with an iron fist and plans to hand over power to his son Diego.

Players take on the role of Dani Rojas, a local resident of Yara who decides to join a revolutionary group called "Libertad" to overthrow Castillo's regime. Dani can be male or female, depending on the player's choice at the beginning of the game.

Far Cry 6 brings a vast open world for players to explore that includes tropical jungles, stunning beaches and urban environments. Players are free to explore the area, complete quests, perform side missions and fight against Antonio Castillo's soldiers.

The game features a wide variety of weapons and vehicles, including "Resolver" weapons that are created from everyday items and trash. Players can also recruit "Amigos", special animal allies who can help in battle.

Similar to previous games in the series, Far Cry 6 combines elements of action shooter, stealth gameplay and RPG, offering players a variety of options to confront their enemies and explore the game world.
