Xbox One Madden NFL 22 is the sequel to Electronic Arts' popular American football franchise, with new features and enhancements that promise a more realistic and complete gaming experience. Launching on August 20, 2021 and developed by EA Tiburon for Xbox One.

Franchise Mode

Madden NFL 22 introduces all-new features in Franchise Mode that include personnel management and talent trees. An enhanced scenario engine adds more depth to player interaction and decisions off the field, meaning your decisions can have a greater impact on your team's development. There's also a weekly strategy, which adds another level of tactical depth to the game.

Unified Progression

Madden NFL 22 also introduces the new concept of Unified Progression. In this system, your avatar's progress is shared between Face of The Franchise and The Yard modes. This means that any progression you make in Face of The Franchise will also be reflected in The Yard and vice versa. Added to this are new player classes and the ability to earn reputation through gameplay.

Ultimate Team

In Ultimate Team mode, Madden NFL 22 brings new functionality: the ability to adjust Superstar X-Factors at halftime. This allows players to change the dynamics of the game based on how the match is progressing. Players can also easily manage team chemistry, adding another strategic level to this mode.

As always, the game includes optional in-game purchases of virtual currency, which can be used to purchase a random selection of virtual items in the game.
