WWE 2K22 also features a 2K Showcase that highlights pivotal moments in Rey Mysterio's iconic career. WWE 2K22 supports both online and local co-op for 2-4 players, as well as online multiplayer for 2-8 players. It also offers a single player mode and can run at 60 fps+, providing a smooth gaming experience. Additionally, the game supports 4K Ultra HD for the best visual performance.

WWE 2K22 was released on March 11, 2022 and is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The game comes with Xbox Goal Achievement, Xbox Presence, Xbox Cloud Saving and Xbox Live. However, online multiplayer play on the console requires Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold, sold separately.
