Behaviour Interactive

Behaviour Interactive is a Canadian game development studio founded in 1992 in Montreal under the name Megatoon Entertainment. In 2000, it was renamed Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M), and since 2010 it has been known by its current name, Behaviour Interactive. Today, it is one of the largest independent game studios in Canada.

The studio gained worldwide popularity with the asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight, in which one killer faces off against four survivors. Thanks to regular updates, new maps and collaborations with famous horror franchises such as Halloween, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Alien and Stranger Things, the game has become one of the most successful online horror games of all time.

Other well-known titles from the studio include the action game Naughty Bear, the multiplayer shooter Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, the adventure game Deathgarden, the puzzle-adventure Fall of Light and Meet Your Maker. Behaviour Interactive has also contributed to the development of dozens of games for companies such as Microsoft, Sony, Disney, Warner Bros., Ubisoft and other major publishers.

The studio is known for its versatility – in addition to its own games, it has long collaborated on the development of major AAA projects and assists with porting, technical support and co-development. Thanks to its experienced team and modern technologies, it has established a strong position in the games industry.
