Re-Volt for PlayStation 1 is an original racing game in which, instead of real cars, you control remote-controlled cars. The races take place in everyday settings, which, from the perspective of these tiny models, transform into vast and dangerous racetracks full of obstacles, jumps and shortcuts.

You’ll race through gardens, city streets, a museum, a supermarket or a school playground. Each track is packed with interactive objects, sharp bends and secret routes that could decide the outcome of the race. Thanks to its unconventional design, every location feels fresh and offers plenty of opportunities for exploration.

The game features a wide range of RC cars with different characteristics. As you win races, you’ll unlock faster models and new tracks. The races also include bonuses and weapons, such as rockets, oil slicks, electric shocks and turbo boosts, which give the races an arcade-style feel.

As well as classic races, Re-Volt also offers a time trial mode, star collection and two-player split-screen multiplayer, allowing you to race against friends.

Thanks to its original concept, entertaining gameplay and sophisticated RC model physics, Re-Volt ranks among the best arcade racing games for the PlayStation 1 and remains a favourite among fans of retro racing games to this day.
