Escape from Monkey Island for PlayStation 2 is a graphic adventure game originally released for PC in 2000 and later ported to PS2. This game is the fourth installment in LucasArts' popular Monkey Island series and continues the adventures of the charismatic pirate Guybrush Threepwood.
In Escape from Monkey Island, Guybrush and his wife Elaine return to the island of Mêlée after their honeymoon only to find that Elaine has been declared dead and her position as governor is now occupied by an ambitious politician. Guybrush must explore the islands of the Caribbean, make new allies, solve intricate puzzles and battle a new enemy in the form of a ruthless Australian real estate tycoon.
