X-Men: The Official Game is an action video game developed by Z-Axis and published by Activision. The game was released in 2006 on several platforms, including PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, PC, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. X-Men: The Official Game serves as a link between the films X-Men 2 and X-Men: The Last Stand.

The game focuses on three main characters: Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Iceman. Each has unique abilities and play styles, and players alternate between them throughout the various levels. Wolverine focuses on melee combat with his adamantium claws and regenerative abilities, while Nightcrawler uses his teleportation and acrobatic skills to attack enemies. Iceman flies an ice glider and uses his ice abilities to fight enemies at a distance.

The game's story is based on the rescue of a Mutant named Polaris who has been kidnapped by a negative character named William Stryker.
