Cold Winter is a tactical action game released for PlayStation 2. It was developed by Swordfish Studios and published by Vivendi Universal Games in 2005. The game is set in a secret worldwide organization and the player takes on the role of John Freeman, a former MI6 agent.

The main plot of the game revolves around the acquisition of a secret Russian nuclear device called "Red Mercury". The player is sent to various locations around the world to find out information and stop the terrorist organization known as HARP. Throughout the game, the player fights enemies, completes missions and solves puzzles to advance the story.

The game offers diverse game environments, including realistic bases and urban locations. The player has a variety of weapons to use, including firearms, grenades, and special equipment.
