Harry was a fireman. He was good at his job, but on a mission to rescue a girl, he ran into a counterfeiting ring. In a corrupt city, this was bad news and cost Harry his job, but worse, it also cost him his girlfriend because Claire Anderson was killed by the mob. 

Harry left the city and trained with a former army veteran to become a top sniper. He returned home for revenge and found an ally in the mysterious C.A., who supplied him with inside information. When the last mob boss was dead, Harry finally met C.A. and found out that she was Melissa, the little girl he'd rescued all those years ago, a little grown up, but still a child who for some reason had memories of his beloved Claire.

The Sniper 2 for PS2 starts with Harry and C.A. on the run, driving through the desert in a big pink Cadillac. They pick up Stanley, whose car has broken down, and Stanley in turn takes them to his favorite diner in Sacramento, where he treats them. While they are eating, more mobsters show up and start shooting, Harry defends himself using a rifle supplied by the diner's owner, and the game really begins.

This game is different from most action games, it's called "Sniper" and that's exactly what the game delivers, short action sections where a lethal shot must be made within one to two minutes, separated by sections of storytelling.
