PS3 Borderlands 2 is an action role-playing first-person shooter developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. It was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows in September 2012, and later for other platforms.

Borderlands 2 returns us to the planet Pandora, which is filled with dangerous creatures and ruthless bandits. The game builds on the success of the first installment and retains its unique features, including cooperative multiplayer and a staggering array of weapons.

Players can choose one of four characters (five and six with DLC), each with their own unique set of abilities and upgrades. These characters are known as "Vault Hunters" and are tasked with the mission of defeating the evil Handsome Jack, who is trying to destroy Pandora.

The game is based on gaining experience and leveling up characters, which opens up new abilities and skills. Additionally, Borderlands 2 is famous for its weapon generation system, which can create thousands of different types of weapons with different stats and effects.
