PS3 Rage is a first-person action shooter game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was released in 2011 for PlayStation 3 (PS3), Xbox 360 and PC. "Rage" combines elements of first-person shooters, racing games and RPGs.
Players take on the role of a character called "Archangel," who is one of the many people who were placed in the Ark before an asteroid destroyed the Earth. After awakening from a prolonged cryogenic slumber, the player finds themselves in a post-apocalyptic world where they must fight various enemies, including violent raiders and a military organization called "The Authority".
Rage offers a vast world that players can explore on foot or using a variety of vehicles. The game also features various weapons and tools that players can upgrade and customize to suit their play style. In addition to the main missions, the game also offers a number of side quests and races that players can complete to earn bonuses and upgrades.
