Killzone 3 is a sci-fi first-person shooter (FPS) developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 platform. The game was released in February 2011 and is a direct sequel to Killzone 2.

The game's story takes place immediately after the events of Killzone 2, with players once again taking on the role of ISA soldier Tomas "Sev" Sevchenko. Sev and his shipmate Rico must fight their way through enemy territory and face the Helghast army, which is now led by the evil Admiral Orlock. The story of the game follows their struggle to survive and try to stop the war.

Killzone 3 offers improved graphics, new weapons and new gameplay mechanics over its predecessors. The game was designed to take advantage of the power of the PlayStation 3, and features impressive visual effects and detailed environments. One of the biggest additions in Killzone 3 is the ability to use the PlayStation Move controller, allowing players to control the game with motion gestures.
