Sniper Elite 3 is a tactical shooter with third-person stealth gameplay elements developed by Rebellion Developments and published by 505 Games. The game was released in June 2014 for PlayStation 3 (PS3), Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and later for PC.

The game is a sequel to the Sniper Elite series and is set during World War II, specifically in North Africa. Players control the main character Karl Fairburne, who is an elite American sniper sent behind enemy lines to stop the Nazi program to develop super-secret weapons. The game features extensive levels with many access options and tactics that players can use to accomplish their missions.

One of the key elements of the Sniper Elite series is the realistic ballistics and detailed slow-motion shots of hits, which show how bullets penetrate the enemies' bodies. The game includes several missions in which players must eliminate enemy units, sabotage installations or protect allied units.

Sniper Elite 3 on PS3 also offers cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes. In co-op mode, two players can work together to complete tasks, while in competitive multiplayer, players compete against each other in various game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Distance King or No Cross.
