F1 Race Stars is a Formula 1 inspired racing video game developed by Codemasters Birmingham. The game was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows in 2012.

Unlike Codemasters' traditional F1 games, F1 Race Stars is a kart racing game in the style of Mario Kart. Many famous Formula One drivers and teams appear in the game, but they are portrayed as cute caricatures and race in souped-up little cars.

The tracks in the game are also inspired by real Formula 1 circuits, but are complete with jumps, skids, various shortcuts and power-ups that players can use to gain an advantage over their opponents. These power-ups include various perks such as speed boosts, shields against attacks, and weapons that can be used against other drivers.

F1 Race Stars also features a variety of game modes including single player, single screen multiplayer and online multiplayer. The game also includes an upgrade and unlock system that allows players to upgrade and customize their cars.
