Split/Second is an arcade racing game developed by Black Rock Studio and published by Disney Interactive Studios in 2010 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Players take part in a fictional reality show called "Split/Second", where they compete in various races and try to get as many viewers as possible to watch the race and decide the amount of explosives that are released on the track.

The game features different types of races, including classic races against other cars, elimination, where the last car in each lap drops out, and survival, where players must escape from crumbling parts of the track. The game also features many circuits and different ways to affect the gameplay, such as hairpin turns, speed ramps and escape routes.

The main new feature of Split/Second is Power Plays, which are interactive events that players can activate using special icons on the track. These Power Plays can, for example, destroy part of the track to change the course of the race, or cause an explosion next to another car. In addition to Power Plays, players can also collect and use "Air Strikes" and "Shockwaves", which are special attacks that can cause the destruction of multiple cars at once.
