The game is set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe and players team up with a group of heroes known as the Midnight Suns to fight the demonic forces of the underworld and stop Lilith, the Mother of Demons, from reviving her master Chthon.

After a moment of desperation, the Avengers team up with the Midnight Suns, made up of Ghost Rider, Magik, Blade and Nico Minoru, to revive Hunter, a legendary hero and the abandoned child of Lilith. At the head of fallen allies and with the fate of the world on the line, it's up to you to rise up against the darkness!
