Xbox 360 Mafia II is an action-adventure game developed by Czech studio 2K and published by 2K Games. The game was originally released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in August 2010.

The game is set in the late 1940s and 1950s in the fictional city of Empire Bay (which is based on a combination of New York, Chicago and San Francisco). The player controls Vito Scaletta, an Italian immigrant and World War II veteran who becomes involved with the Mafia to pay off his father's debts.

Gameplay consists of a combination of shooting, hand-to-hand combat and driving, with a large city that is free to explore between the main missions. The game also features a number of authentic vehicles and licensed music tracks from the era.

Mafia II Encore - Betrayal of Jimmy

This time you don't play as the Vita, but you do get the chance to play as a brand new character, the bald maniac Jimmy. The add-on tells the story of the bald assassin Jimmy, which takes place outside the main storyline of the game, sometime around 1950. In 25 missions filled with assassinations, dramatic shootouts and thrilling car chases, you'll do the bidding of mob bosses to help them fight Chinese and biker gangs for control of the city.

Mafia II Encore - Jimmys Vendetta

Hired by others to do the dirty work and clean up the mess in Empire Bay, Jimmy was betrayed, sold to the police and thrown in jail. But this balding hunk refuses to accept that and is out for revenge. Shootouts, frenzied driving, explosions, all await you in thirty new missions. Don't expect any elaborate story, it's just one big arcade and rampage in the city of Empire Bay. Again, you earn points for fast driving, skids, explosions, jumps and car crashes, shootouts, etc., which are then used to build a leaderboard so you can compare your results with your friends or other fans.

Mafia II Encore - Joes Adventures

The story revolves around Joe Barbara, the lifelong best friend of the hero of the second episode, Vito Scaletta. You'll experience the events of Empire Bay up close as Vito sits in prison, and it's as Joe that you'll have to find out why and how Vito was sentenced. Aside from the dramatic story and intense arcade action, the addition also opens up several new locations in Empire Bay, such as the train station, shipyard, lake and new buildings in the city. In addition, the add-on also includes several side quests that you can complete in the city independently of the main storyline.+ 4 themed packs: 1) Vegas Pack - Vito shows off his Vegas style in two brand new cars and suits. 2) Renegade Package - two new outfits that fit Vito's rebellious personality and two new cars, a coupe and a stylish 1950s stingray. 3) Greaser Package - two new sports cars and two sets of outfits for Vito. 4) War Hero Package - Vito will look like a real hero in two new uniforms. They are complemented by two military vehicles.
