The story of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is not connected to the stories of the previous games. It takes place on the same continent, but in a different province - Cyrodiil. This region is not as arid as Morrowind, there are forests, mountains, swamps and even access to the ocean in the west. As for the races, all the ones you know from the original series are here. The game has a drastic pacing. You definitely won't have to worry about boredom. Graphically, the game is absolutely stunning, photo-realistic. The developers have been working on the graphics technology for a whole year. Like the previous games, Oblivion has a standard first-person perspective. But it also allows you to switch to a third-person view. In terms of the size of the game world, Eleder Scrolls IV is larger than Morrowind. The interface design of the compass and maps has been redesigned, so that you don't spend a long time groping for an experience. The boring and repetitive travel you might have experienced in Morrowind is eliminated in Oblivion. The experience system has also been revamped. It remains basically the same, but it's just a bit more adaptable to your needs (for example, in case you decide to take your hero's development in a slightly different direction after playing for a while).
