Call of Juarez: The Cartel for Xbox 360 is a first-person action shooter developed by Techland and published by Ubisoft in 2011. The game marks the third installment in the "Call of Juarez" series and departs from the original western setting of previous games in the series by taking place in a modern setting, specifically focusing on the fight against drug cartels on the United States-Mexico border.

In Call of Juarez: The Cartel, players take on the role of one of three main protagonists who are part of a special interstate unit with the goal of dismantling a powerful drug cartel. Each character has their own backstory and motivations that are revealed throughout the game: Ben McCall, LAPD detective and descendant of the famous Ray McCall from previous games; Eddie Guerra, DEA agent with questionable methods; and Kim Evans, FBI agent with a history in street gangs.
