Stormrise for Xbox 360 is a futuristic real-time strategy game from The Creative Assembly, best known for the Total War series. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic future, where, following a devastating environmental catastrophe, two completely different factions – the technologically advanced Echelon and the mutated Sai – are fighting for survival.

Unlike traditional strategy games, the game features an original control system called Whip Select, which was designed specifically for the games controller. Instead of the usual method of selecting units, you switch seamlessly between individual squads directly on the battlefield, creating a faster and more dynamic style of command.

Throughout the campaign, you’ll capture strategic points, build up your army, gather resources and utilise the special abilities of individual units. Thanks to combat in a vertical environment, units can move not only on the ground but also across buildings, cliffs or bridges, opening up new tactical possibilities.
